Founded in 1995 as a response to the cross-pollination of the funky underground music scene in San Francisco, Om Records is powerhouse music company with over two-hundred and fifty releases under its belt, as well as a global events production company with over three-hundred massive music showcases a year from Tokyo and Dubai to Spain and Brazil, and a style brand with design accolades ranging from nearly every major publication in the world including VIBE, BILLBOARD, THE NEW YORK TIMES, and more. Branded the United Nations of Future Music, Om’s mission is to find, put out and promote music that is refined, innovative and always pushing boundaries.

About Om Hip-Hop:

Reports of hip-hop’s imminent demise are false; fu*k what you heard. The monolithic major-label system IS crumbling, however, and the day of the independents dawns again, bringing the genre full circle to its origins. Leading the charge toward the reclamation of hip-hop’s creative process is but a newborn babe, a label not quite two years old, but with a vision broad enough to last for decades, if not eons: Om Hip Hop.
